This Privacy Policy explains how the Lumiq app (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects user data when using the mobile application and its Augmented Reality (AR) features.

Information We Collect

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the core AR experience: matching your photos with your videos.
• To store and retrieve your personal AR collection via Firebase Storage.
• To ensure app stability and fix technical issues using crash reports.

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell user data. Data is only shared with essential service providers for app functionality:

• Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage): Hosting, authentication, and content storage.
• Apple ARKit: Local processing for image detection and tracking.

User-Generated Content (UGC) Policy

Lumiq allows users to upload content. By using our service, you agree to the following:

• Prohibited Content: You may not upload content that is illegal, offensive, pornographic, or promotes violence.
• Reporting: Users can report any objectionable content within the app. Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours.
• Enforcement: We reserve the right to remove prohibited content and suspend users who violate these terms.

Data Security

All data transmissions (photo/video uploads) are protected using HTTPS encryption. Your content is stored securely on Google Cloud (Firebase) infrastructure.

Account & Data Deletion

Users can delete their accounts and all associated photos/videos at any time through the Settings menu in the app. Once an account is deleted, all stored content is permanently removed from our servers.
